In doing so the Rockets will be screwed out of getting Chris Bosh.

The meeting is with Riley, Spolstra, and Wade. Also, LeBron hung out with Wade all day yesterday in Vegas. Not the greatest of signs if you are a Rockets fan and need LBJ to break up the Big Three.

But if Bosh isn't in that meeting, maybe that is a good sign.

Cleveland is screwing themselves by building up this false hope.

Will Bosh be at that meeting? No. Still good news for the Rockets. They are treating Bosh like a 3rd rate member. He could get tired of it and follow the love Houston is showing and nothing talks quite like money.

everyone turning up strikes me as an attempt to convince him, more than a foregone conclusion

But will Rich Paul be there?

I can see it being a meeting where LeBron tells everyone he's leaving Miami. He wants to do this in person, and in private, as to avoid the whole "decision" fiasco again.

But then again, it's more than likely LeBron and Wade are there to talk numbers.

The only thing that gets my hopes up is that Spo will be there. If LeBron's really talking numbers, then there's no reason for Spo. That leads me to believe perhaps this really is an official good-bye. In which case, here we come Bosh!

Exactly. Riley mihht have to go from fake tough-guy speech (after losing in the Finals) to pleading and crying (as he realizes he is about to lose far more).

Bosh isn't at the meeting because he is on vacation out the country. They aren't treating him poorly, he is choosing to be out of the country with his family.

This! Signing Mcroberts and Granger is the only thing Riley could do and Lebron knows it doesn't make his chances at a ring better in Miami. Riley is doing the only thing he can do at this point, get Lebron's best friend and coach in a room and convince him to stay.

at least we know it's unlikely... there are rumors saying stuff like "90% chance" for Cleveland. if they don't get him/he spurns them again, they will be heartbroken lol
