Uh.... Lin has been in the NBA for a few years and did some sort of a stint as a starter for 2 NBA teams. Lin gets the nod over Machado, without a doubt, for the time being. Jeebus Christ, you folks have no patience, hasn't even been half a season.
I was actually thinking more of a Machado/Lin combo off the bench. IMO, Lin would be a better fit at the 2 next to Machado. He is good shooting with his feet set.
What games do you guys watch??? Lin is terrible as a SG unless he has the ball in his hands. That's basically what he's playing now, because it sure isn't pg. Machado will be terrible. He can't shoot. Neither can Lin ATM.
There is no denying that Machado has talent...but if he was that good he wouldnt be 3rd on the PG depth chart...
Lol. Macho would suffer more in this system, cuzz he plays no d!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Yes you are pretty bias. Lin is not an elite defender but by no means is he bad defensively. He is far ahead in that category compared to Machado and it's not even close. Machado also has suspect decision making, whereas Lin's biggest problem is taking open shots. I don't think Lin is an all-star point guard but he is heads and shoulders above Machado, and I think it's insane that you somehow managed to rationalize more strengths in Machado's game than Lin.
Even if he is the answer we will have to wait till next year.. If Jones or DMo havent touched rotation minutes Machado is a long long ways away
Hey guys I found the graph JCDenton left out
It's a stunning piece of work that must have taken him months of research to come up with... Spoiler
Per words from "the man" himself, JC: "Lin's bar is too high" So the disparity is in fact greater than we knew.
WTH? This is an insult to Allen Iverson's NBA corpse. Let him dunk the ball first or make a consistent bucket even then talk.
