This guy was just a bad player for the NBA level. Ish Smith had a better chance of making it than him, and that says a lot.
I see potential in him. Don't forget he is 22 yrs old (2 years younger than his soon to be replacement). He worked hard and I never heard him complain in his time w/rockets. People want to keep on about the comments how different he and Lin are, that is the past and takin out of context. I am also sure Lin and him didn't have a grudge (not that it matters now). I wanted Rockets to keep him and think they could really develop him into solid backup. Wish the guy good luck moving on. It just seems crazy we couldn't at least attempt a trade to get something or put him in a package deal.

Anyone 'member him? Machado today got released from German BBL team SC Rasta Vechta because of lazyness and selfishness. Rockets cut him in January 2013 to make room for Beverley. I guess Morey knows a thing or two about Basketball.
This guy keeps bouncing around to the most random places. How's the Joe Ingles crowd fairing? Simmons? My understanding of the area is that the buzz is real but doubting the Ingles hype?
Jingles is a national treasure, everyone who is into basketball loves him. Even more than Delly when he shut down Steph in the Finals. He's the archetype of the laid back unpretentious aussie bloke but he happens to be really really good at basketball. You definitely see more people wearing Simmons jerseys around though, but he's not as universally loved as Joe.
