I hope that someday, Rick Santorum is staring down the barrel of a gun. I don't want him to be hurt, at all. I'm not wishing that upon him. I just hope that he is scared enough for his life, that he can be in that moment, and think, man, I sure am glad I took a CPR class in high school. I'm glad I took that step in mitigating this threat. Good thing I took it upon myself to do what I could do to get myself out of this situation. (I say this in jest, to show how stupid this guy is. I do not wish him any harm in the least bit. I'm just glad that he is not a representative of any body of people anywhere.)
Exploiting children in an effort to push authoritarian legislation probably won't get anywhere either.
What the anti-gun crowd doesn't seem to understand is that when they act up, it only results in more guns being sold. Any time an anti-civil rights group moves to take away the rights of the people, the people get more interested in exercising those rights no matter what they are.
Pretty impressive that Bobbo the Clown is able to shitpost so frequently with this as his internet connection:
The issue is that Most Politicians live in the belief that it can never happen to them They are insulated from all the evil **** they allow to happen There are Polive/secret service etc that will protect them far better than they protect the average citizen Easy to be a AHOLE when you never have to see or experience the consequences of their actions. Rocket River
For sure, I think that politicians would be more prone to want to strip the rights of the people if they were attacked by them often enough....but when the government decides to start stripping the rights of the people it never leads anywhere good.
I think the government stripping the rights of people to have slaves, discriminate in business, voting, home ownership etc. all have done a lot of good.
I'm sure they followed that up with a panel where one (or more) of the guests explained that we already have universal background checks and that to say otherwise is a lie used by the mainstream media to push the Soros agenda item of creating a universal registry of each American that owns a gun.
NRA admits it takes money from foreign sources (I know, shocked, but at least now they are admitting taking rubles, er, money)... but hey, they don't use that money for U.S. elections..
