I got one of those Obama FW emails from one of my uneducated friends in Texas who thinks everything she reads on the internet is true. This was her comment in the email: I have decided that from now on, if anyone uses the word "scary" or "scared" when talking about Obama, their credibility instantly goes out the door for me. This seems to be the brainwashing word used by fox news and the gloom and doom type pundits and uneducted people who live in the deep south. At first everyone was "scared" that Obama was actually a muslim terrorist. When that fear was over with these people were "scared" that he was racist and was out to get white folks. Then that fear subsided and it was "scary" that the economy would collapse because he was a socialist and a marxist. Now that fear is dying down and the freaking stock market is back over 9000, so the latest and greatest "scary" thing he is doing is ruining health care for all of us and if we get an illness we won't be able to get good medical care. I tell you if you really think about it, this is great great entertainment. I can't wait to see what people are "scared" of next. ROFL
well eventually when the country turns around after all the destruction bush waged on the economy, starting a war with iraq when he should have focused on helping the afghans, having the entire world more angry at us then ever in our history, taking away freedoms that america's troops are dying for etc etc etc etc. after 7 years of obama being in the white house im confident this country will better then it was when he got into office. people will always b**** about the lefty social crap. but the united states will be a better place and any sane person that is not partisan will accept that as a success.
Any rational, sober analysis of what Obama has done to the economy and is threatening to do to the healthcare system will surely leave any voter scared. That has nothing to do with race. Now, on the other hand, his 20 years at Jeremiah Wright's church and his deeply embedded Afro-centric beliefs (which he hides, but let slip in the Gates incident) leave me scared as well.
tj, tj, tj. teejster. Weren't you the one suggesting that the stock market is a valid measure of Obama and his economic policies? Why yes, yes you were- http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=164522&page=2&pp=20&highlight=stock+market
wow, the Dow is back to where it was in early January. Somebody cue the Kool and the Gang and let's celebrate
t_J is. look at how quick obama has been able to restore calm markets that only move up. shows how much cred he has. rofl
I was working oil fields in the middle of nowhere Kansas for about 9 months during the election. The 3 choices on the radio were: Country, country, and conservative talk radio. With all the hate talk on there, I don't blame these people for being scared. This strategy designed by the conservative elitists, such as T_J and Rush Limbaugh, is made to work up their simple-minded (these are good people) base into thinking the commies and socialists are taking over. This is great for their bankroll. The 1950s called and it wants its talking points back.
I'm scared, but I don't feel comforted by the fact that I didn't vote for Obama. I don't trust this country being dominated by one party. It makes me feel uneasy.
