i stopped after I read that Bill Ingram is the writer, that douche is a moron x10 for those who are curious Tell us something we don't know Bill.... in a nutshell, he's suggesting that we'd trade Tmac for backups/reserves.... WHO ARE SUPPOSE TO HELP TMAC AND YAO!!!! why does this guy have any cred at all? one of the reasons I stop listening to Monster of the Midday because they have this douche on their show every week
The article is just based on common sense. Anyone and everything is available for the right price. Just don't worry about anything hoopsworld says. They are just basically a rumor website, and everyone by now should know that a rumor starts with a kernel of the truth. Don't be suprised to see T-Mac in a rockets jersey next season.
Like Lebron really asks to be traded cuz of this season, T-MAC would be the best option for the cavs, i would trade him then. Other than that, or Detroit breaking up their core i don't think we would trade him
Tmac's contract is only two years left. How much money do you guys think the rockets can let him stay by then, 10-12 millions?
No doubt about it, the Lakers would have done that in a hear beat, when the best SG WANTS to be traded, get the 2nd best. They were ready to do a Luol Deng + (someone) + Pick for Kobe + (someone). Don't know why the hell Morey didn't do it though
Once again, Bill demonstrates why he is the master of logic. We need a perimeter scorer to use as the 3rd option behind Yao and McGrady, so we are going to consider trading McGrady to plug that hole. Absolutely brilliant.
I understand your point, mine though was that yes, anyone in the NBA can be traded. For Example Wilt Chamberlain Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Clyde Drexler Hakeem Olajuwon Charles Barkley Shaq (twice) J-kidd Allen Iverson T-mac Stephon Marbury Antawn Jamison Ben Wallace Kevin Garnette Ray Allen Shawn Marion Everyone here is an All-Star talent, and a couple or more can be considered some of the greatest talents of all time. When, and why the trades happened don't really matter for my point to be proven. Anyone in any sport can be traded. Just gotta find that right price for it to happen. And please don't take this as an insult. I just felt I didn't clarify my point earlier, and your point does have validation to. The Cavs would be r****ded to trade away Lebron. That would be like giving away a lambo for a civic. It just wouldn't make any sense, and if the cavs did try to trade, that is what they would be getting back.

Exactly. The question is which teams feel that acquiring Tracy would put them over the top. Add to that the assumption that the Rockets wouldn't trade him to a Western team, and the realistic options are reduced even further.
