Put them on Twitter blast if you're looking for a replacement and good customer service. Pics of phone and damaged parts, plus innocent story of your damages and their lack of response. I doubt the representation angle will get you more after lawyer fees unless other bombs in men's pants starts exploding for no reasons...
I will never own another Samsung product after buying a fridge of theirs, and them being unable/unwilling to fix my brand new, half working fridge. Their customer service was atrocious.
Uhh of course it was the battery. WTF in a phone would explode? Why is anyone really shocked? https://www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/hazmat_safety/more_info/?hazmat=7
Like someone already mentioned, contact the local news stations- FOX, KHOU, KPRC etc. Also contact Inside Edition(sounds like the kind of story they like). Also write about it on twitter and put Samsungs business out there. Good luck.
Stay away from Samsung and LG fridges and washer/dryers. Ain't nothing wrong with a Kenmore from Sears. Won't have the bells and whistles but gets the gotdamn job done.
My iPhone overheated one time and melted and when I contacted Apple they had lawyers calling me to make sure everything was ok. I wasn't injured so they just gave me a new phone and that was that... But they were all over it. Samsung sucks apparently.
Apparently Samsung makes schitty products outside of phones. I bought a Samsung TV and after a while it started buzzing... loudly. I checked online and apparently I'd have to open up the TV and remove some parts. WTF. Can't trust Korean products. Their noodles are great tho.
Can't say I didnt warn you. The Samsung Phone explosions are legit. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/17721...in-teachers-hands-in-the-middle-of-busy-cafe/ There are a ton of instances now. As for the current issue, have not heard back from samsung after shipping the phone back Be careful out there folks. This is NOT occurring while the phone is being charged. it is occurring when in your pocket. Or the link above, in your hand
