I think so I just caught the tail end of it...he was talking to some lady who was an Astros fan. I don't think he was on yesterday...actually I didn't even notice that R&R weren't on yesterday but apparently Wednesday was their last day.
Is this the Sam Malone that was on 104 KRBE who had the giggling sidekick? And I think he replaced John Lander and the Q Morning Zoo? GRRRrrr.... never could stand that guy. And what was he doing on an AM radio news station??
yes, he was the one on 104. no...he didn't replace the Q Morning Zoo. That was 93Q..and he was never there. He has an AM show on 740...tune in and see what you think. I heard it the first few days and thought he did a pretty good job. It's a caller-driven talk show.
On the drive into work I flip back and forth from MIKE AND MIKE and Mix for Roula and Ryan.. I will not be turning on MIX now that this old leftover is taking over.. Anyone else think this dude looks like he's lost in the 70s still?
bottom line...the guy is a name...a name that helps pull advertisers. his staying power for a morning talk show host in the FM format is really good. i've actually met this guy...know people who know him very well. for what it's worth, he's a really nice guy.
There is a reason he does radio, he looks like a tool. He is entertaining, what happend to his little monkey boy Psyco Robbie?
Barsky on 104. he and Maria Todd had a show together in a different market...they moved that show here.

Barsky was very, very funny. I don't listen to morning FM shows. Not my thing. But Basky was worth listening to.
Now they have that tool Atom Smasher do the morning show. I can't take that guy seriously. How long before Maria jumps to Mix?
Walton & Johnson are not concerned, although they won't be able to make fun of Roula and Ryan anymore... "It's 7:25 OMG ha ha ha"
