Sam Dekker is surprising good in my 2K MyCareer Rockets team. Active hands, able and willing to create his own shots 1-on-1, knocking down open 3s reliably. my Ariza went down for 8 weeks and my team didn't miss a beat...

Dekker needs a lot of work. His shooting mechanics are atrocious. Horrible at finishing.

Going to be a big summer for him. This is a good time to throw his shooting form out the window and start from scratch while deciding to get really light (add quickness) or really strong (to match up with PF's).

Harrell is looking great. Incredibly likely to be our backup PF next season. Just hope he doesn't loose the willingness to finish strong, which seems to happen to most of our bigs.

Morey clearly picked him for his look-a-like features. The guy was a bust from the get go.

I'm not unhappy with Dekker at this point. If you look at only his good plays then you get a feel for what he's capable of. He handles the ball pretty well, and I think he sees the court pretty well. He hasn't played much ball in almost a year, so I expect him to be rusty. He needs to stay in the D-league the rest of the year. If he learns to knock down the three ball consistently, then I think he can be pretty good. Time will tell.

Montrezl looks really good playing for the Vipers. I think his potential is one of the reasons the Rockets were willing to trade DMo.

I'm confused why he can't get minutes over Jones AND Smoove. Smoove is shooting 25% from 3! I feel like Montrezl can at least be that bad.

I don't think some of y'all are looking at Dekker past the highlights but he looked good last game, all things considered.

I really don't see why we're calling Dekker a bust. Has he even participated in 10 games yet? Looks like he's rounding into form to me. Harrell has a bright future.

Interesting. Only his good plays, you say.

Seems like an excellent way to evaluate talent.
