As the first and second option, Aaron Brooks and Luis Scola do not make us a playoff team. They should be payed accordingly. How soon we forget, about Yao and Ron Artest...
dude, he pretty much said you were right to bring it up, but then he basically argued against it being that serious of an issue. We understand your point, we just dont believe it's as big of an issue, or one that the rockets havent planned for. We also understand you can't sign every single player every single time. what you dont understand is, right now we're re-signing our core guys. We're not on this pattern of signing everyone, in fact, tht's why they traded landry. Morey will say it was tough to let him go, and it was, but they know what players are replaceable and which arent. They werent about to give landry a significant raise when, like morey said, he could be replaced in the draft. you pay for guys who can't easily be replaced, that's what he's doing, and obviously to a certain extent. Morey seems to be retaining guys that can make good assets AND still help us be contenders. Lowry seems like a large contract, but i'm willing to be a team in need of a starting point guard would definitely be interested. Right now we dont have alot of guys under lengthy deals and after yao martin is the second highest at 10 mil. We'd be panicking more if we had less flexibility, but we have it. I'd also say there's a good chance he'll flip some of these guys for a star and clean up the salary situation that way.
yao? he only played one game. ron? he played liek **** in that serie. we can beat LA if we trade yao for two 10M lvl player, so that five 10M lvl starter can win it all just liek piston did.
