just read on nba tv that Cedric Ceballos is in the hospital after suffering a series of small heart attacks, wasn't he on pros vs joes, i was shocked to hear that, he's still young..

I only remember a crazy ass shot he made in the corner for Miami to end the game. It had a catchy song too "Miami heat, we caaaannnn't beeee beat! the Miamiiiiii Heeeaatt!"

It happened while he was playing. Good that he went to the hospital rather than ignoring it.

"Former Suns standout Cedric Ceballos underwent minor surgeries Monday and Tuesday to remove a blood clot in a coronary artery but "came through with flying colors," his publicist Crystal Guy said.

Ceballos, 42, is recovering at Paradise Valley Hospital and doctors expect that he will be able to return to a normal lifestyle, she said.

Ceballos suffered a series of small heart attacks Sunday, possibly starting while he was playing an Arizona Scorpions' ABA game at Phoenix College. Scorpions coach/owner Ron Tilley, in Australia for his daughter's graduation, said he was told that Ceballos went up for a rebound in the first quarter and came down holding his chest. Ceballos believed he had pulled a muscle and did not return to action. After going home, Ceballos decided to go to the hospital to be checked Sunday night.

Ceballos, a 1995 All-Star, played four full seasons and parts of two others for the Suns in his 11-year NBA career. He now serves as the Suns' in-arena emcee and helps with community relations while operating his own business. Ceballos decided to play for the Scorpions after becoming a part-owner of the expansion team, which is 5-1 and ranked fourth in the ABA."

I only remember him from that old youtube video of the worst slam dunk contest attempts and Kenny said Cedric could see through the blind...

Anyway.. good news I guess, he's better.
