Would he still be Westbrook if did that though? He is great now but with these changes he would be champion; Harden plus the Westbrook 2.0 would never lose a game not even one.

O lawd are there people here saying they wouldn't trade Russ for Simmons???

If for no other reason, you do that trade 10/10 because Simmons is much more easily traded than Westbrook. Which is why Philly would never even answer the phone if Morey called with this offer.

After watching Westbrook over the past week or so.....I’m crossing my fingers that the Rockets trade
Westbrook. Inconsistent shooting like going 7-7 in the first quarter and then 0-9 in a second
quarter will kill the Rockets chances of winning a championship.

Winning a championship requires a better form of consistency and recognition of the difference
between a good shot and bad.....even if the shooter ends up just shy of 50% from the field.
Westbrook will always lack the discipline and basketball I.Q. to win it all.

Westbrook gets 38.5M this year. I’m trading Westbrook not for one so called “superstar “

I’m trading Westbrook for two players making about $15M and one player for about $9M. Spread the wealth
Quantity over Quality (especially if that Quality player tends to shoot us in the foot)

Trade like this would no help both teams. Give the Rockets some steady consistency. Help Harden.
Improve our defense. Instead of Gerald Green, insert Nene. *just an example

    Houston in: Bamba/A Gordon/T Ross/Aminu
    x
    Orlando in: Westbrook/Sefolosha/Tyson Chandler/Nene

    http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=v5ss5cy

Again, only a wish by me. Not hearing talk through the grapevine.

    Roster:
    PG: Harden................Eric Gordon/Rivers/Clemons
    SG: Terrence Ross....McLemore/ G Green
    SF: Tucker.................House/Aminu
    PF: Aaron Gordon.....Tucker/Aminu/Clark
    C: Capela...................Bamba/Hartenstein

    Better Team

Many here have pointed out the P-O-S who put this “information” out there is reliable only in his anti-Rockets bias.

In a way, it’s a shame that he’s pulling this out of his culo. I can imagine, realistically, Westbrook trades that would greatly help the Rockets, given out lack at the 4 and overall depth.

But someone does need to take this thread out behind the barn and shoot it so dumbasses like me will quit posting in it.

    We agree that we disagree.

I believe Harden needs more players with more discipline and stay in control.

Westbrook has never won a championship and I question how much Durant/Harden and Ibaka carried Westbrook
the time Westbrook made it to the finals.

As usual I don’t see the team perform well when Harden sits. Don’t let Westbrook carving up bad teams fool you.
No bad teams in the playoffs (Western Conference)

Those are some team prospects going nowhere as the teams will latch on at all costs. The Magic isn't letting Bamba anywhere.

Brodie carved the Nuggets something nifty last night. Which of the top teams must he carve up if the nuggets aren’t the top

How about the Warriors, Pistons and Kings?

He was 13-31 against the Clippers recently.

He didn't even play against the Pistons.

He single handedly ignited out comeback by pushing the pace and basically had a layup drill that had us back in the game from 20 down.

Which Kings game are you talking about, the one where he was 13-17 from the field and have us a lead with 1 second left before they beat us at the buzzer, or the one he was 10-22 from the field and had 28-7-6 and we won the game.

The only bad games I could think of is the Warriors game in the last 10 games

I don't think we'll trade Westbrook, but ApacheWarrior's idea is a good one on paper, Magic have been looking for a pg for ages and they're super tired of being lottery bound, Gordon isn't having a great season so far and him and Isaac are basically the same player so, i can actually see them moving one of them (likely Gordon since he's older, with less upside and already on a big contract, Bamba is interesting but he has in two years he has still to show something significant and he's not going to take Vuc role anytime soon. I think in the East a starting 5 like:

    Vuc
    Isaac
Ross/Aminu (i think one of these guys would stay)
    Fournier
    Westbrook

Would be enough to make the playoffs in the East.

Then again, we're not trading Westbrook...unless suddenly Harden decides it's a good move, which is something i don't see happening for at least one/two seasons anyway.
