If the Patriots accepted a conditional 2016 7th rounder, what the heck did the Cowboys offer? Some chewing gum and an Arby's coupon??

    My answer was for Bandwagoner.

I think it was great we went after him. There was no else to go after on the waiver wire and we are going with Fitz, Keenum, and Savage into this season? Anything can help for this upcoming disastrous season.

It may have been one of those Scott Boras style phantom competing offers to get the interested team to up their offer.

And we gave up a 7th rounder for him. I don't understand how you have a problem with this.

I never said that QB type was incapable of winning, I said that it's disappointing that BOB is fixated on that type of QB when most of the premier young QB's are far more mobile. I would be happy with younger versions of any of those QB's, Mallett is not that.

    Very nice ....Patience pays off.

I know many don't hold Mallett in high esteem, but he's going to be the eventual starter (whether due to injury or Fitz just stinking it up)this year.

Case will land on his feet somewhere and down the road end up at UH.

Free agent next year right? So we should definitely see what hes made of before the season is over. Unless we happen to not suck this year and Fitz lights it up....

Getting an even worse QB doesn't really help unless the goal is to tank another season.

There's at least a handful of guys on practice squads more intriguing than Mallett, but Mallett gets the call because he's an old pal. I'm sick of the lack of creativity and good old boy mentality.

Man you make one trip to the store and bam, you miss quite a bit! Well I hate to see Case go, but it is what it is. He'll probably be better as a coach than a player. Mallet...sure why not.

Low risk, no reward, basically a waste of time. How we draft next year will matter a lot more.

Pretty sure BOB is certain that Case is much worse than Mallett.

We don't know yet if he sucks. I would rather have him out there than Fitzpick6.

Who would that be and how familiar are they with his system?

If BOB has a good old boy mentality too, then why did he let one of his Penn State guys go?

Define incredibly well when they haven't even played a regular season game?

If its a waste of time, why do you feel the need to even comment on it or post in a Ryan Mallet trade thread?

Again, what would you rather have them do? Give up an even higher pick for a different backup QB? Or stick with the crap they already knew they had to improve upon:?
