This has nothing to do with "mechanics".

Was generally interested in the topic reading the thread title but the bread of the argument let me down.

"Shot mechanics" means things like:

- Elbow in line
- Sufficient wrist flexion
- Wrist drive and follow through
- Dipping the ball on the catch/gather
- Early visual targeting of the basket


This has been a hit button topic due to Lonzo Ball's irregular shot motion.
OP's gripe has nothing to do with mechanics and has more to do with the type of shot. He is fading on those shots ("left or to the right or even leans").
