A "pop" sounds like a grade 2 sprain to me. Just from experience I'd say it'd be at least 2 weeks before he can run around without pain and at least a month before it feels 100% again. Not a doctor or anything, I've just sprained both of my ankles several different times.
Time for Dekker and possibly Harrell to step up . In the past , Ive thought Sam has played well with trez. They may not have the size to play against a big center , but they do really well together on the offensive glass.
Sounds like a severe high ankle sprain He will need to do a lot of stretches and other training to regain full mobility and range of motion
I think Kyle W should get the start. Imagine him with Harden and Anderson type spacing.... he is lights out, maybe even better than Anderson at the 3 ball. I hope they give him a chance.... virtually the same player... both can't create. But both can shoot, and I think Kyle is better at the 3.
Time for Ninja Dekker to shine. The man is just much more acrobatic and versatile. Let's see what he does now that he is the man called upon.
If it is a serious sprain it is time I don't want him rushed back before playoffs. Who do you think coach will start in his place? This is a great time for him to unleash Wiltjer. Let him get some wide open shots with Harden in there as the point guard and see what happens. He is always in for only a couple minutes with the bench, and hasn't been able to just take a bunch of shots like our starters do. Last night Ariza and Anderson had a lot of passes they hesitated on and either tried to drive back in or passed it back to someone else. I'd love to see Wiltjer finally get some time on the court, even if it's behind Dekker. Dekker might get back into the groove as a starter, with Witjer backing him up. Trez would be great in that role too, if he could only hit 3's like Josh Smith used to do. I'd love to see Trez get more time., but when our most consistent 3pt shooter is out of the game someone needs to be able to hit those shots. That's the problem with Trez, who is built like a forward but only plays center. Is it because he has no outside shots? His defense and hustle are so good, as well as his ability to score inside at the rim, but we could use him in that rotation in place of Anderson, with his strength, hustle and ability to block and rebound. I guess we all will see what happens. I just hope I don't see someone 6'4 or less in our lineup for that position.
Let him rest up and be ready to go for the playoffs And FFS, don't take out the trash or do other stupid stuff during rehab
Man, I don't see him coming back before the playoffs, but he's absolutely necessary to stretch the floor against the Warriors. Praying for a miracle.
