That's interesting. Those same people should also label Westbrook a dirty player for trying the same steal on Jeremy Lin. Only Lin was smart enough to not push his leg forward and thus avoided an injury. Injuries happen and fans need to accept that Bev did nothing wrong. That said, speedy recovery to WB!

 

This may sound wrong, but I'd rather have a dirty player or a player with some seriousness toughness over a team of weaklings. That's why I loved Ron Ron so much and I loved the heart and grit players like Bobby Sura played with. We need hard-nosed players.

 

I like the term "enforcer". That's why I secretly wanted the Rockets to go after David West in the off-season, but Pacers signed him right away. Garcia is our best enforcer, he doesn't play dirty but he mean-mugs the crap out of the other team.

Fluke play that was not Beverley's fault (or intention). On the one hand he gains a bad rap from this, on the other he gets a higher rep as a defender. Neither is accurate based on this one play.

You guys don't think a crazed fan or team official would try to take out Beverley? The only reason I say this is because of the ridiculous crimes that have occurred recently....I would say heavy/extra security for the Rockets when they return to OKC

 

Jeremy Lin is taking out everyone in his way...one pg at a time. I was scared Lin was going to get annihilated by WB but now no more worry.
