CP3 is playing very well this year by all of my checkmarks. 16 ppg, 5.5 assists, 4 boards, 2 steals per game on 45/41/88. Interestingly, he also has a lower USG rate this year then he did last year with us.

CP3 is playing good defense, he's scoring on high efficiency, and he's passing the ball well without turning it over at a high rate. WB is 0 for 3 on that criteria.

You guys wanna talk X and Os and efficiency?

Let's talk about Chris Paul having the ball the entire 4th with a lead in Game 5 against the Warriors. Harden was 10-16 from the field, hot all night, and touched the ball maybe twice with game on line. Why?

Because of awful chemistry. Harden knew Chris had been complaining and whining about him ISOing too much, so what did James do? He stood 30 feet from the basket and said go win the game CP. And CP couldn't. He choked in the biggest game of the series.

CP is a bad leader. This has been proven time and time again. The only reason he's even made it to the WCF is because of Harden. That type of **** I just described will NEVER happen with Harden and Russ. Because they genuinely are pushing one another to succeed. Russ brings out the best in Harden and it will be put on display this postseason.

Chris Paul hit a point last year that I didn’t think was coming till maybe this or next season but it came last season, he’s officially a role player caliber player. Yes he has sparks here and there but he can’t do it consistently and as you’ve been seeing he isn’t even OKCs main option @ the end of games. Shai, Gallinari than CP. The guy is done, now is Russ way better? No, but he provides a ceiling that is higher. Rockets team last year was not good enough, lost to warriors and imo would have lost to the raptors probably as well. Reason being Chris was no longer that second superstar and showed up 1/6 games in the WCSF while harden did it all (wasn’t the case in 2018).

Chris ppg is lower, Apg lower, rebounds lower, can’t get past his man. Yes more efficient better at holding the ball but same ceiling as last year probably even less. We had a similar Win percentage last year during that 22 games w/o Chris and steadied the ship during his absence

How about 8 turnovers and no bench production?

Yeah we would’ve won that game easily with CP’s signature injury list appearance.

Yawn, on to the next win streak.

I think WB brings energy and passion when Harden has his 'lazy' and 'mediocre' days.

That said, WB's overall skillset other than his triple dubs are not good enough to carry a team on his back like Harden can.

Also he has aged and he will keep on having those mini injuries, like with his fingers.

He will try to 'take over' and do too much, that is precisely when the opponent is making a run.

I get that, but CP3 isn't exactly washed, he is just not good enough.

Being washed means he cannot even get 20 minutes of playing time without forking it up.

He can still get you 16 and 6-8 assists but he can't play more than 32 minutes regularly, that is the problem.

WB is not much better than him, just slightly, delivering other things but his shooting and IQ in clutch moments is his biggest problem.

    And a strength of CP3.

So is westbrook. Just because Cp3 was not the answer, it does not mean Westbrook is. I think Cp3 was slowing us down a little too much and yes we needed someone who could push the ball but Westbrook was definitely not the answer. I hope he proves me wrong and turns into an intelligent player who can hit his shots. Do we honestly think that is going to happen? Westbrook=melo experiment 2.0 .

Does it actually "disgust" you, Veruca Salt? Or is this just an ESPN Hot Take? Either way, it seems a little #beggingchooser.

Like Leslie wanting a fun, exciting coach in Mike D'Antoni, Tilman wanted a fun, exciting player in Westbrook. ("The one thing I believe you do in business, and you do in basketball, is you never sit still. You always keep it exciting. Not only is it exciting that we’re a better team, but it’s exciting for the fans.")

Harden wanted & got his BFF. "Sorry Chris, you gotta go."

Much like the Leslie vs. Tilman debates, which turd do you like better!?

Tilman is better! No Leslie is better! Yeah, well neither paid the Luxury Tax! But Leslie sold out to China! Tilman is a Houstonian! But at least Leslie let Daryl work and stayed in the back and didn't go on Logan Paul's podcast! But Tilman "restored" our uniforms!

Chris is better! No Russell is better! But at least Chris can shoot! Well Russell can get past his man! At least Chris can guard his man!

    Both can suck. ;)

If CP3 is 30 or 31 again, he would be hands down better.
