People get sick everyday, I don’t get this idea that giant pieces of **** get treated like saints the second they get ill. Normal people on the street suffering don’t get a fraction of this sympathy

You have just given a rational argument for justifying terrorism. Not sure you realize that.

Let's focus on the real enemy. Rush might be a propaganda machine and played a role in crowning Trump, but he is part of a system. The real enemy is the demagogue in chief

Quoted for truth. love these decency beggars who are the same folks who eat up Donny's tweets as "breaths of fresh air". Cons are absolute cowards for payback and retaliation.

That's the part when Jesus becomes ALL about love and forgiveness...NOT before.

F that guy. He'll probably live five more years. Reap what you smoke fat b*stard.

Rush has 10-20 million listeners every week.

Go to any job site or factory and you will likely hear Rush's voice

Before Rush, half the country did not have their views represented anywhere in media.

He is one of the most influential people in American history, and deserves to be recognized as such.

Rush was syndicated starting in the late 1980s, so according to you, there was not a conservative voice prior to then. Who was the liberal voice prior to then.

Yes, just like Goebels - you know a bigot who influenced a bunch of people.

Popularity among a cult following is not a sign of goodness, or goodwill.

Seriously? 30+ years ago, every single one of those outlets leaned liberal? Well...that’s that then.

There is no question that Rush Limbaugh is a titan of radio and should be in the radio gall of fame.

There were people that represented conservatives before Limbaugh. He was just especially good at it.

Someone that makes fun of rape, hates black people and women... that has been accused of being involved in underaged sex tourism and makes fun of the appearance of a child doesn’t deserve the honor he received. We should have an understanding that pieces of **** are not eligible for the award... we could call it the Cosby rule.

I guess with such an expansion of Executive power the last 3 years, that the next Democrat President can just strip the award from him... not like any family members will fight for preserving his honor after he is lowered into the cold ground.

To echo what @Nook said, yes he deserves to be recognized for his success, but he doesn't deserve to be honored which is what the medal of freedom is. He deserves to be dishonored as frequently as possible for all of the hate he has sown.

I hope Rush is spending only his own money and not a penny from Medicare on his condition. Probably just like his heroine Ayn Rand sucking on the public tit to largely pay for his care. She at least tried to hide it by all of a sudden using the surname of her husband

I’ve always thought it was funny that a girlfriend I had in my early 20’s that was extremely liberal but loved 3 of Rands books. I assume she knows now what they mean politically. She sure the hell didn’t then and she was smart too. Graduated from UT with dual majors in Bio and Chemistry. I’m pretty sure I was living with her actually when I signed up for this site lol

    That's what we are doing.

    Doesn't have to positive recognition.
