Of course consider with a grain of salt...

No one can believe Kennedy. Someone with credibility will have to come with this.

In his defense, Kennedy reported the Toronto/Ross-West connection prior to Stein. This Valanciunas thing may be nothing, but it is still interesting.

    Dwight for Valanciunas/Ross straight up!

Joking (a bit), but at least Valanciunas is willing to play to his strengths.

There is no way Toronto trades Valanciunas, the guy is only 22 I believe, big men take time, he's shown signs of breaking out. His D means quite a bit to the Raps too, no way they trade him.....

I would be shocked if they trade him. Unless they get a true star.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Toronto's inside defense is one of the few glaring weaknesses this year...

Ain't no way another team trades them an established star for Valanciunas.

Val is one of the more promising young centers in the nba. He has the size and athleticism and just needs to keep improving. He's already a good center. Toronto would be stupid to trade him.

Agreed, Toronto's interior defense is weak and Val isn't exactly doing anything to change that much. When I said the Raptors need him on D, it's because when he does play good D he makes a big difference. Problem is he doesn't do it consistently enough. As I said, he's got a ways to go before he's a complete player. Though you don't give up on a guy this young. He's going to be a solid player in this league. The Raptors would be stupid to trade him.

    He's 22, 7' 255, 12.0 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 20.30 PER, 56% fg & 80% ft. At first, I thought his to's (70) were high. However that's only 1.3/game. Of the current playoff teams + 7 within reach playoff teams, only Jordan/Clips, Whiteside/Heat, Jefferson/Hornets & Len/Suns have < 1.3 to's/game.

Kennedy's reporting "rival execs" wet dreams!

Dwayne Casey seems cool with doing that.

As much as I whine about McHale...thank Analytics that we hired him instead of Casey.

I doubt there's any truth to this, but I'd love to get in on the action and act as a facilitator.

If we could somehow end up with Valanciunas, this would make Dwight's recovery and extended absence that much more tolerable.

That said, not going to happen. Toronto can't be this foolish.
