Pretty sure Harden's .376FG% was a huge factor. I also recall several piss-poor defensive efforts by Beard, as well.

Amazing that series was a desperation 3PT away from a Game 7 @Houstun.

Lol what? How on earth is income not relevant to spending, and how on earth is spending less money than others not considered cheap?:confused::confused:

WTF does any of this have to do with the revisionist history of OKC's trading Harden?

Take a TO. Just get some perspective in your Rocket life.

    1. I haven't read through this thread.

    2. I followed OKC very closely at the time.

I have no idea if this report is credible, but Harden was a party animal long before he came to Houston. This is a non-debatable known fact. I didn't connect the dots back then, but it could explain the #1 on-court problem he had at OKC: Inconsistency.

Specifically his final season there, the difference in Harden's production on the road vs. at home was a regular topic of conversation. Partying as a potential reason never came up in articles and forums I read but maybe that had something to do with it.

Good call. Today and the trade are two different discussions. Play on.

Unless Harden changes his entire outlook, he isn't going to lead a team to the promised land like Duncan, Kobe, Lebron, Curry.

You guys keep burying your heads in the sand.

Definitely not why he was traded.
He does party a lot though lol. He was at VLive last night with Future at like the wee hours of the morning meaning he got off the plane from
    Charlotte and went straight there.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if he was out partying during that time. Harden's disappearing act in the 2012 NBA Finals would have made Houdini proud.

This further proves that we need to waive James Harden.

    This is so stupid.

It is not as if NBA players were a bunch of choir boys.

That's basically how I remembered it. They had a decision to make between Ibaka and Harden and they Chose the frontcourt because they already had Westbrook KD.

The fact is know one on this board knows why Harden was traded....

The teams give you info that you want to hear and about 80 to 90% is pure BS and just PR info.

The information that the media is spitting could and couldn't be the truth, but most of you guys wouldn't believe it even if it was true.

Wait... Harden parties? Trade him now.

Never mind that he's a 1st team all-NBA player and top 5 player in the world - he doesn't work hard at his craft at all. If you haven't won yet you never ever will. Never mind that he's led our rockets team further than any of our teams since Hakeem. Okc didn't make a mistake at all because the beard likes strippers.

I just learned that harden parties, so trade him him today (deadline be dammed!)
