If that is true, I will be happy. YAO + LBJ = RING.

This sina article says that Huang is a partner of the Rockets franchise. Why would he be interested in buying the Cavaliers? Well, why wouldn't he invest more here and try to pry LBJ from Cleveland?

Pretty funny, really. Sensationalism at its best.

Yao seems very loyal. I don't think he would leave Houston unless he was asked to or was traded.

So, Yao would leave this team just because a random Chinese Rich guy asked him to?

Wow, its on the internet so it MUST be true.

I had heard about this rumor about a month or two ago, from a somewhat inside source I suppose. Many things still need to take place in order for Yao Ming to put on a Cavs jersey. While all the speculations are premature right now, I think people need to acknowledge it as a potential possibility.

It's silly to expect Yao Ming to be blindly loyal to the Rockets organization. As long as we're a championship caliber team (and we're pretty close to it), there's little reason why Yao would want to leave for greener pasture.

Dismissing the story altogether would be foolish, imho.

So because a Chinese billionaire (?) is sitting courtside, and has expressed INTEREST in buying the team, all of a sudden that means the Cavs owner is just going to sell it to him? If anything, because of the very REAL risk of LeBron leaving Cleveland for the Knicks in a year, Cleveland's owner might be a genius to sell right now when the team's value is probably at an all-time high. I still love the fact that simply because a Chinese person is interested in a team, that automatically means that not only will he get the team, but that he will also re-sign LeBron, sign Yao, win championships, and dominate the NBA.......man, you gotta love the self-promoting Chinese media. Can we PLEASE ban SINA now? I really can't take much more of their rumor-mongering, false reporting anymore.

If this guy is so rich, couldn't he just lure Lebron and Yao to a chinese team like the foreign billionaire that lured Josh Childress to Greece?

T-Mac to the Jazz is a possibility.
Yao to the Celtics is also a possibiliy.

Now just imagine that. That would be cooool. Yao in a green jersey and T-Mac getting cheered by Utah fans.

idiot. The problem is not Yao to Cleveland. The problem is that Lebron himself will go to NY after his current contract expires.
