I would Pick Rudy Gay up as a FA. If we do end up landing two stars that means we probably traded Anderson, Ariza and maybe even Beverly and E.G. So will need depth and maybe he will sign cheap for a chance at a ring
only at the end of the summer on a Nene type deal. He's looking for big money like Wesley Matthews got after his injury, but seeing how Matthews recovered teams might be more tepid on committing long term. He is not a good defender, he's an average scorer, a below average team player, an oversized sense of his value, and coming off major surgery at the age of 30. If we sign him to anything more than 8-10 a year, we are idiots. Ryan Anderson is a much better role player and Gay is not a star player, not even close.
