How does spending assets on Rudy Gay make it likely that you have assets to spend on Kevin Love? The team is in a good spot this summer if it does nothing dramatic-- $15M in cap room, a competitive core of rotation guys, and several good young prospects. I'd rather have this than Rudy Gay, no salary flexibility, and a diminished set of rotation players and assets.
The obnoxious what in denial, what's new? I can't wait for your posts in playoff time, what, when you're arrogance is always at an all-time high.
Why wouldn't they want Parsons lol? 1/16 of the cost, similar production, can space the floor much better than Gay, defends well. Gay is a better player, but Parsons is a perfect fit for Memphis
He's just trolling. After Rudy Gay gets traded, he'll talk about how overrated Rudy was and how the Grizzlies made a great trade to get wonderful assets for Rudy Gay to make them into a championship level team.
Oh snap! Oh Snap II: Son of the Return of Curly's Gold Let's keep it real: Rudy Gay is not a bad basketball player you guys. He's just a little overpaid. His contract was inked under the old CBA, and by current CBA standards, he's probably even a lot overpaid. That doesn't make him inherently bad at basketball though.
Factual, factual. He'll hamstring any team with that undeserved money, but 2014 expiring contract Rudy Gay is going to be amazing. He's going to be one of the most sought-after players in the league, even as an overpaid rental.
We dont have anything that would interest them remotely. Parsons maybe but we wouldn't be able to throw in any of our rookies cause they are all PFs and they dont need any.
It would start with Parsons and getting them under tax. Isn't their owner making most of his money selling wireless stuff in Chinese speaking markets? Offer Lin, Parsons and salary fillers (Patterson, Delfino, Aldrich) for Gay and Conley. It makes them worse, but I wonder if they could refuse.
Gay isn't the type of player that fits here in Houston. He's ball dominant, not very efficient and has a big terrible contract. There's no need to rush into things and just be patient for a star that is more suited for Harden and Lin.
I think yall are after Kevin Love, since he and harden are best buds. Yall just need to wait till he is available.
if its just Carlos 'Delfino-Toney Douglas-Patrick Patterson-Marcus Morris," then thats nice. i would hate the deal if we need to give up parsons.
Any player that makes $37mil/2yrs that can be traded for bolded players, cannot be packaged for another star. That makes absolutely no sense. If Rudy Gay had enough value to be packaged for a star, he'd cost Parsons and a bunch of picks.
