    Rudy Fernandez, who is probably the single most hated player in Europe (because he's an incredibly all time level dirt player).............evidently had his dirty game antics finally catch up with him.

    An angry Zalgiris fan punched him the face and sent him to the hospital.

    A night that should belonged to basketball, was overshadowed by an unprecedented incident. After the game of Zalgiris Kaunas vs Real Madrid a fan of the home team, according to a report by Lithuanian journalist Sarunas Mazalas, punched Rudy Fernandez (photo) in the face as he was heading to his team bus. He was then rushed to the airport with blood all over his face.

    I think Rudy is the most hated European player of the last 10-15 years.

    I have always disliked Rudy F. Kind of reminds me of a taller version of JJ Barrea. Always tries to play the victim.

    Yeah, I was wondering that too. All the reports kept saying he had a bloody face, but I don't see any blood. Of course the reports also said the team doctors attended to him. So maybe that's why?

    Anyway, it looked like he was crying.
