Apparently Denver wants to draft him at #20, we'll see.

If SA had a first round draft pick, I would have been willing to bet money they would draft him.

I read he worked out for the Thunder at the end of May, but I do not expect him to still be available that late.

And I don't think Morey picks him up at 14/16 - maybe if he trades back... even then, there isn't much playing time available at SF/PF.

His interview at the Chicago Draft Combine impressed me very much. He's very grounded with a good head on his shoulders. He actually reminded me of a young Duncan as far as handling interviews and his philosophy of basketball and what's important.

He said he has a big support structure for his anxiety...professional, friends, family and son. Sounds like he is following good advice.

Best part of interview...he has a big beard:

Interviewer: "So, who is the inspiration for the bear? James Harden?"
Royce White: "John Lennon" "I love John Lennon, philosophical and inspirationally, I connect with him" [paraphrasing]

Watched the last minute of that interview, sounds like a really humble person with a great future. Hope we draft him.

A player who is undervalued by most other teams isn't Morey's type? How do you figure that?

If Rox keep picks then sure, take a shot at the high upside.

To me he is way more of a power SF than Morris ever will be.

Don't see any way he can play SF. He's bulkier and heavier than a lot of centers in the NBA. He's like the second or third biggest guy in this draft. I'm talking about bulk and weight when I say big. That dude is a wide load. He's got quick feet for a guy that big combined with a lot of power. Watched a couple 3 on 3's with him during the combine where all the PFS are doing the drill. Once he gets the ball down low he's got so much bulk that he can throw in a layup flat-footed against these guys. That will change a little bit in the actual NBA where guys are bigger and longer and more skilled.

But I don't see any way he could play 3. He probably outweights Morris by 40-50 lbs.

The other thing about White is although he is highly skilled he is very sloppy with the ball. He does force a lot of bad passes and he does fumble around with his handle some and while he's got good post moves, he is not the best shooter even when he makes the post move and gets freed up for the little 3-6 foot jumper. Whoever drafts him is going to have to work on his sloppy play and coach him to more efficiency ...............oh.....and get his fat ... on a plane.
