I am a fan of Royce White and I believe once he gets a chance in this League, he will be able to play outstanding. I hope he can put up with the politics of the NBA and just tough it out for a while. Besides, he has a great beard. This thread is to show that there are people out there that are on Royce White's side and I hope he stays a Rocket. C'mon Royce, just be patient and stick it out, good things will happen.
I'm more a fan of him and his well being than I am of him as a basketball player. Does that count as support?
Is Royce even playing any basketball these days? Or does he just split his days between twitter, and making artsy stuff.
Royce doesn't need support and kid's gloves. He needs straight talk. Tough love. Criticism. also he needs a shave.
Not sure the response this will get or the effectiveness it will have. Everyone has already stated their opinion on this. Everything said here will mostly be a repeat of whats already been said. I personally WANT the guy to succeed. But again it'll lead right into STATING WHAT YOU WANT him to do, or what he NEEDS to do. And with Royce so far ITS THOSE EXACT SUPPORTIVE THINGS thats he's openly rejected. Its madness! Royce needs to do MORE to GAIN more support, simple as that. He's gotta do things to acknowledged he's wasted everyone's time lol (And again, thats a repeat of whats been already said. But I applaud the positivity at least)
Absolutely, just be positive with this guy and avoid harsh criticism. He can be criticized but it should be presented truthfully and lightly.
I don't think many members here consider him to be a part of the organization. Out of sight, out of mind? I admit I am ignorant w/r/t his game on court. But his off-court personality is grating and I've chosen to ignore his existence for the most part.
I like your post in general. But i will disagree with the fact he needs to do more. The rockets just need to put him on the practice court, first step. And dress him for games and give him garbage minutes, second step. Also, that so called therapist from the Rockets is not the answer. It's not the right move. It will only make it worse.
This is the type of attitude that doesn't help the situation. The reason he's on twitter is because the Rockets aren't giving him enough opportunity.
