He is lost because he never practices and is out of shape. This is the highest level of the game and everyone needs practice.

People are still piling it on. You know what is really bad for his mental health? All of you guys attacking his character and making assumptions about his motivations. What do you do when the world thinks you're wrong and you're insecure about it? You project irrational confidence, which is what he's doing. Stop tweeting hate, stop posting hate, just let the guy figure it out. Basketball isn't his first priority right now, and that is okay. The guy clearly needs to work through issues. All of you who continue to instigate him are contributing to the problem. You all ought be sad for him, not angry. What is there to be angry about? It's not your money, it's not like he was going to help the team any time soon. This is for Royce and the Rockets to work out. We don't know the details of his life, so let's stop assuming he's just a selfish ******* when he's clearly someone who is very ill. Everyone needs to take a giant chill pill.

i want to just fast forward and see what happens after a few fines. ive noticed less direct rockets bashing. maybe his agent knocked some sense into him?

does he even realize how much leverage the rockets have over him with 4pfs ahead of him the the depth chart? and the fact that he isn't THAT good?

just grab some popcorn. because this trainwreck will be worth watching

I am not mentally sick, like Royce White is, so no. I have no idea what that it is like or what he is going through, so being non-judgemental might be the way to go. Interesting to see some shabby Bible quote a little while back. Using the bible to be judgemental?

Ask Royce. For all we know he could have gotten molested but posters don't want to have sympathy at this time.

Yep, there's a lot of judgment going on with very little information or compassion. People like to think that because they've had hard times that no one else has the right to complain. No one thinks what Royce is doing is good or professional. But good god (pardon the pun) show some empathy for the man. If he wasn't mentally ill maybe he would be able to suck it up and keep going, but that's not his situation. Instead you have people judging his character (such a Christian thing to do) over a game of basketball.

    Just let him be.

How would I know? I was just saying that the idea that only the trauma of war causes PTSD is ignorant. Any trauma can cause it and nobody from the outside gets to judge whether or not his trauma is great enough to meet the diagnostic criteria. The criteria is the sufferer's experience of the trauma.

No the people who are cheerleading him are the problem. He is pissing alot of people off with what is obviously his manipulative intentions.

The people who truly "care" about this guy would tell him to get the f*** off of twitter and handle this privately

He chose to turn this into a public drama and quite frankly is garnering less and less sympathy with each tweet.

I was rooting for him at first but he just seems to be sniveling punk who believes the world owes him something

The Rockets gave Royce PTSD when they demoted him te the D-League. Trauma beyond his understanding.

J/k but someone had to do it.

Royce would be perfectly happy not playing basketball and having a normal job I imagine, as long as we was mentally healthy. He has made it perfectly clear that he just wants to be in a healthy environment.

Maybe the Rockets are not providing that? Who is to say?

Maybe we are being a bit too judgemental without knowing all the details?

    Really?

He had a healthy environment at Iowa State that HE chose to leave early for the luxuries associated with NBA life.

Unfortunately, this is the attitude that is feeding into his nonsense.

Like I said, its a damn shame.

He's still showing signs of just lacking life experience and maturity. By all means, take care of your kid first.

But how does spending so much time on twitter, including late at night, which cuts into your sleep, make you a better parent?

How does slowly losing a multi-million dollar position help you better support him financially?

How does going about this the wrong way, which causes many to come at you negatively, keep your son safer?

He's got a lot to learn, perhaps he should take his own advice and become better informed or ask someone who is.

Whats bad for his mental health is his continued use of tweeter and not taking advantage of provided healthcare assistance.

Less and less assuming is necessary as his own statements and those made to the Rockets bring clarity to what he is about.

The world happens to be right in this case as it pertains to many of his self proclaimed statements.

No one could hold ANY job with the mental state that Royce is in right now.
