Not trying to raise alarm or cause wide spread panic, but based on observation, I think that Royce might have some mental issues. Please don't quote me on this, but it is a hunch.

At this point, this guy could eventually be the second coming of Oscar Robertson and I still wouldn't care.

The sooner he is out of the league the better.

He claims everyone around him is encouraging him in his behavior...

I've been following the back and forth between Royce and Hardwood and two things jumped out at me:

    1. Royce claimed his advisers told him to stay the course aka keep doing what he is doing.

    2. Royce says this is about doing what is best for him in his situation which to me completely contradicts the concept of him being an advocate for people like himself. I guess if he was rational he wouldn't twittering so no surprise there.

No flying issues, no panic attacks, no anxiety issues, but now it's migraines. What is next? It's becoming more and more clear that Royce can't play in the NBA. If an email is enough to disturb him, then how can he handle angry fans? Trash talk? You can't imply something like an email can hurt you and then turn around and say you can still make it work. You can't. You're not going to "educate" every single person, you're going to come across in the NBA, before they interact with you.

Royce, either you're very very ill or full of it. Either way, it's not going to work out.

No panic attacks since he was 18? Can you still even claim you suffer from anxiety then? That is ridiculous. I can't wait for the Rockets to just void his contract in the next few months. They've said all the right things while Royce has said all the wrong things that will surely come back to haunt him. He'll have zero leverage when that happens.

Never had since he was 18 years old? By golly, so what has been going on is not yet IT folks. Brace yourselves.

His "issues" would probably go away if he was a starter playing 35 minutes per game. Funny how that works...

I had a back and forth for awhile with Royce on Twitter a few hours ago, trying to encourage him to face his fears. It seemed to fall on deaf ears as he seems to be all about avoiding triggers and having employers make special accommodations. Oh well.

The org should just put their foot down and tell him to attend or they'll void his contract. Then let's see what his posse'll advise him.

He has gotten "positive feedback" because he is a minor celebrity and some people will brown-nose to get a retweet from someone famous.

Of course, he only retweets people reaffirming him in his "crusade" or people who are so nasty with their insults that it makes him look good again.
