But just to be clear, the written joint "agreement" isn't really a protocol, was it? He didn't really get what he was so adamant about holding out for. Do you get the sense that his capitulation had some financial motives?
I wonder how Royce will react when he realizes that he is going to be second string on the Vipers struggling to get playing time.
He is comfortable with the direction... But he did NOT get everything he wants... but he is ok where they are now... and understands their POV
So what changed on his end? Were the things that the rockets laid out in the agreement things that they wouldn't/couldn't have offered back in November? I just don't get why things changed. For Royce to be so black and white and determined to take a stand, then suddenly make vague statements about "trusting" the organization after a long, drawn out battle... Just screams "$$$$" over all of his "principle." I think he's doing this media tour to save face, because this is the only reasonable conclusion that I can draw.
Great job nuno, I rmember listening to you on a radio station or something. Royce is an entitled narcissistic moron. He needs to be grilled. If anything employers will probably be more cautious a out employees with mental Heath issues, so he has actually set them back.
That's definitely not a long-term solution to anxiety, plus those pills are highly addictive. They need to be used sparingly, and real treatments to serious anxiety need to be much deeper than medication.
"Do you regret anything that has happened over the past couple of months?" "No. I don't regret anything." That was really all I needed to know.
His problem isn't anxiety, that's not what kept him out so long, he did what he did for political purposes. He could have played day 1 if he really wanted to. It's why people who are "writers by craft" have no business being in the NBA.
Sorry, dudes...
