This a helping hand to morey & stab in the back to White!
    Genious!
And don't think that may not be the case. Look what they did together, & now have, they are ahead of the curve. I'm sure there is great respect bt the two, but Morey was the mentor.
Don't let the NBA hear haha, these are my opinions only, and are not true:eek:;)

Royce White is a con artist douche bag.

There are thousands of people each day who manage to take their medication and show up for work--while this punk has basically taken a year off just because he can.

Its funny that he has no anxiety for shopping, partying, screwing and knocking up chicks, and blasting out thousands of tweets in self anggrandizement. But when it comes to work and accountability? Forget about it.

    He's a grade a scumbucket douche-bag

This behavior is common from people. Everyone who thinks they have anxiety disorder jumps in with "I have it too, White is a sissy!" >> the first sign that they are clueless, because if they did any research they would know that an inexplicable number of people claim to have it without being diagnosed and among those who have it the degree of seriousness is vastly different.

You can see that there's a lot of irrational hate, such as:

    - Whining about White getting paid. This is stupid because his pay was suspended during the times he was not co-operating with the team.
    - Saying he doesn't care. That one's hilarious. If you knew anything about his disorder, you would know that to the person with the disorder it would be worth far more than part of his guaranteed NBA money to go through college, draft, orientation with team, playing for D-League, inciting publicity, etc.

The only rational conclusion of the White "saga" is that his disorder is bad, we should have done our homework beforehand, we should be more prepared as an organization to support/penalize people in this situation appropriately, and White made some horrible decisions because he has never been in this situation before - the kind of pressure that no one on this board has ever had to deal with.

So forgive the people who are disappointed with White rather than hateful - we're just not that impressed that the typical self-diagnosing moron fan feels White should have handled the situation better just because that fan is able to sit behind a *****ing laptop and punch in some numbers for 8 hours a day under extreme medication without any problems.

His problem is probably bigger than yours. His circumstances are much bigger than yours. His life is more important than uneducated fandom. Maybe the guy will never adjust to an NBA life, but no one would believe you if you said you wouldn't even try if you were in his position. You would be exactly where he is, trying to make it work without succumbing to medication or bureaucracy.

I continue to say the Rockets are far better after that nightmare just for the things they learned. We accommodated some of his demands because it was the legally correct way to act, not because we're generous. Next time we'll do our homework better on acquisitions, and we'll have systems to deal with this type of thing if we decide to take on the risk.

I pity his condition, I respect for his continue fight for his cause, but at the end of the day, if you are not FIT either phsically or in White's case, mentally, he should NOT be declaring for draft.

He cheated one player of his NBA dreams.
He causes 14 other NBA players to have a smaller contact and 1 player from a guarentee contract.
He limit anyone that drafted/traded for him to have 1 less roster to be competitive.
Not sure about the getting paid part, but if anyone waive him, i'm sure his getting every single cent.

If his condition is so bad, why did he tells teams before the draft that he had it under control? That his fear of flying wouldn't be a problem?

I respect that he has a mental illness. I do. But he uses it as an excuse. My aunt is a single mother with 3 kids with SEVERE anxiety. And she still works full time to support her family. Royce White finds excuses NOT to play.

The Rockets went out of there way for him multiple times.

The first time they had a problem was the beginning of training camp when he didn't show up.. he didn't even tell the team he wasn't going. Just didn't show up.

Rockets buy him a bus to travel, still not good enough for him.

Publicly calling out the Rockets repeatedly..

Oh, and don't forget about how he's a ****ty father. Is that his illness' fault too?

my thing is, if he was never going to take part in organized flights he should never have declared for the draft in the first place. He hookwinked teams, basically.

AIDS is in your blood, anxiety is in your head. It's different.

Plus it'd be like signing up to be a pornstar when you have AIDS, much like Royce agreed to be a NBA player and be scared of flying. You knew this was apart of the job curriculum.

I was also diagnosed with anxiety disorder as i have my bouts of panic attacks, exactly like royce white's. There is a med for it that would help calm you down or you could even have some pills for sleeping.

And then there are things you could do to calm yourself down one of which is to have a massage as your mind will be taken away from your anxious feeling, and will be focused on the sensations of the massage. And he could try other stuff too.

The point is there are a lot of options for treatment or managing it. I know because i also experience it. Yes, i have a good doctor, but i imagine royce will even have better doctors to surround him, right?

That is what i dont understand about white's condition. It seems to me he.is not trying to manage his condition, because i did. And i am earning peanuts compared to him.

He could have gained sympathy from me if i knew the disease is not manageable, but it is.

So mostly, everyone is jelly because he got paid.

Like the hundreds of other first round draft picks that son't make it.
