Why even go to San Antonio ??.. They will lose. After reading all these threads and watching this team play I'm sure NO ONE including me believes the rockets can beat the spurs..
Rockets should send a letter to the league, forfeit that game and stay in town to practice for that 1st win on Sunday ( we all know the Texans are gonna lose, at least 1 Houston team has to win,, right ???? ) ...

Why Risk injury, if Blair goes for a dunk over Yao and lands on Yao's foot that will be the end. Just Saying ..

Or,,, if the league does not allow the rockets to forfeit Plan B could be sending the league's DEEPEST bench and get some playing time and let Elston Turner get some Coaching time or Ask JVG to help a little.

You do realize that underdogs win all the time.

In poker, pocket 6s still beat pocket aces every now and then.

I think it may be getting to the point that clutch removes a lot of privelages from a lot of posters. Threads like this one accomplish one thing: posters who are just trying to post before the lock....

It's not about being positive but about bringing something of substance to the conversation, not something that would be said in a middle school.

I think this is a clever dig at our strategy to play Yao only half the game and not on back-to-back games to prevent injuries.

    Funny.

    Close this thread.

I think Durvasa is finding more relevance in this thread that there was intended to be.

seems like most don't agree with this thread but at least Yao should stay in Houston and play against the T-wolves not the spurs... Duncan and Blair are going to Kill Yao..

    Cleveland over Boston
    Clippers over OKC

Examples of teams winning games one would not predict. You play to win the games, and you never know if you will unless you get on the court and man up.

Quitting before the game even starts in any situation, is the sign of team that mentally weak will never be able truly succeed. You never concede the game.
You put in your effort and heart, and believe and you can do amazing things sometimes, things that cannot be predicted, calculated in a box score, or assessed prior to the game.

That is one things that makes sports so universally loved and amazing.

If you don't get that, then why on earth are you watching the games?
