The Pistons play with no energy after 3-0 lead. The same thing happened in last season's playoff against Cavs. It's time for Rasheed to come out and promise "They will win game 6".

I don't think that had anything to do with it at all. The Pistons didn't bring it in game 5 like they did in games 1 & 2 and the Bulls hit outside shots. It will be sweet if this goes to a game 7. It's on the Pistons to wake up from their slumber and get it going again. Last season after being up 2-0, they took their foot off Cleveland's neck and should have lost the series in 6 games. If you ask me, it's on Rip to assert himself on offense because I have no doubt Chauncey is going to bounce back. The Pistons lost focus against the Magic but it didn't matter and they repeat the mistake again.

No let down this game from the Pistons so far, show energy and hustle, play hard in defense, so the Pistons should be able to close the series tonight. When PJ Brown is the top scorer for the Bulls, the Bulls have a problem.

Uh huh, which is why the Bulls are up 5 at halftime.

Detroit is putting a serious squeeze on the Bulls major players and PJ Brown is eating up the slack line. Plus, the Bulls have a big advantage at the line. In the 2nd half, Brown will not be able to continue the production so it's on Hinrich, Gordon and Deng to get untracked. On the other end, I think Chauncey will step up big and become unguardable and Detroit will win this game. I don't think the Bulls have the poise to take pull it out.

Pistons are going to put this game out of reach in the next 5 minutes. Book it. Bulls again taking one of their patented naps.

Pistons shut down the other Bulls and let PJ Brown score. The Pistons is on track to win this game right now. Pistons lead 70-62.

Oh, forget to say at my 1st post, the Bulls always had the lead. But I had no doubt the Pistons will win if they play the way like tonite. They are the better team.

It's rare that you see a defense that is so able to dominate an offense to this extent. Plus there was a lid on the basket for the Bulls. Wide open 3 pointers, turnaround 2 pointers, drives to the basket and FTs are all missing for them. For Hinrich and Gordon to both lay big eggs the same game makes it impossible for the Bulls to win.

Yes, the Bulls need an inside scorer, but they need a backcourt player who makes better decisions than either Hinrich or Gordon. You can't trust either one of them when good defenses exert pressure. Their handles are decent but not great and they just make too many mistakes under duress. Or perhaps a big SG who could slash and finish stronger would do the trick.

The Pistons will have a cakewalk to the Finals against the pathetic winner of Cavs/Nets.

the bulls had bad luck to be 5th seed and need to go thru the Pistons, if they are the 2nd seed, they should be in the ECF. They can beat the Cavs/Nets. Cavs/Nets are playing like craps.

hinrich looks so lost out there. this is the problem with a guard dominated team lacking an interior scorer.

I wouldn't exactly call it bad luck. They had 82 games to earn a higher seed but didn't.

The East has been a cookie conference since Larry Bird retired. They usually have no more than two or three legitimate contenders each year while the West comes with at least four to five. Western teams knock each other out in the playoffs while the East boss can comparitively cruise to the Finals. It's only been noticed the past couple of seasons because the difference has reached ridiculous levels, but even during the 90s the West was thicker at the top.
