    [Rotoworld] Muhsin Muhammad to Texans

The Giants and Texans are two teams believed to be interested in signing Muhsin Muhammad this offseason.

The Panthers were hoping Moose might want to stay in Carolina for a hometown discount, but that's not going to happen. Muhammad should go to the highest bidder: the Texans would make a very intriguing

I'd much rather sign him in free agency than draft Mike Williams in the first round.

I'd love him as our #2 WR. Man would this open up AJ and JG both!! We have needed a possesion reciever for a while now.

Man I want this to happen now.

Getting him for the offense would be awesome for the Texans. Then they can concentrate in the draft and FA for some OL and DL players.

Don't know to much about him, but everytime I hear "career year" I cringe and think of the Richard Hildalgo signing.

I was wondering what everyone was complaining about when I saw this thread like an hour ago.

Tough call. He's getting older, but he did have a nice year. I wonder who else is available via FA in the WR dept.

Frankly, I'd like to see us use our money on the DL and the OL.

Jerry Porter is another good one thats going to be available.

Like you im not sure a FA WR is the best way to spend money when the line needs help.

This would be a huge help for AJ, but I doubt it would happen.

Kilgore Trout.....I'm reading my first Vonnegut book right now (Breakfast of Champions). :)

An Andre Johnson and Moose Muhammad combo wouldn't be nothing nice. That might be the best 1, 2 punch in the AFC.

Too bad the Texans don't throw the ball that much . . .

I'd love to see Muhammed here next year. His results over the past few years speak for themselves -- he's gone from a bust to a star. I don't know if the Texans can sign any big-name offensive lineman, and if they can't, Muhammed would be a fantastic pickup.

If we go offense, I'd like to see a good TE. Someone who can block like Breuner, but catch like Miller.

We are obviously masters of the dump pass. At least with a talented TE, we have that option to the other side of DD. In turn, that'd keep defenses honest, and potentially give us an extra tick or two to get it down field.

That's what Joppru is supposed to be.....if that guy ever gets on the field.

I'd personally rather them draft a Mike Williams than sign a FA WR.....especially one that is over 30. Use the money for the offensive line or on another linebacker.

Muhammad is a little old...and not worth what he'll cost and the years he'll command. He was good, then bad, then good again. No reason to think he'll suddenly be consistent. But even if he is, I think it'll be like Phoenix overpaying for Nash...good at first, but will surely hurt in another 2 years or so.

Plaxico Burress is a FA, much younger but could be more expensive.
