I hope that won't be something we look back on and regret....but given his poor showing, I can't blame the team for cutting him.

lol, Trail showed flashes. Really mature guy for his age, I'm glad we maintain control. Would like to see him next year.
Not a real surprise on the claims. Seems like guys that they're interested in remain on roster and require a trade to get them. Now I'm real curious about who we pickup for the practice squad.

So if your waived guys want to be back on your practice squad. They can definitely bring back some good players that they waived. Worthy, Bollough, James, and Hilliard are probably my priorities. I figured James would get picked up, but man I would love him back on the practice squad.
It's gotta be rough on Charles James to find out that no team wanted him, he said goodbye to Houston, but he could end up on the practice squad, same goes for EZ

The Texans Next Step, The Waiver Wire What are the Texans Current Needs? The Texans should be looking for outside linebacker, running back, defensive line, and quarterback depth on the waiver wire and among current free agents. The defensive line only has five on the depth chart and could be looking for another big body to deepen the nose tackle position. The team kicking the tires on Terrance West shows they are trying to upgrade the group and it looks like they are content on keeping a depth chart of four for the season. A fourth outside linebacker would be handy, with a primary focus on special teams contributions. The third quarterback is important for running the practice squad and getting work done efficiently during practice. They need another arm to continue their pace on the field, so look for any quarterback that might have experience in the system before. Martin looks safe for the time being but don't be surprised if there are inner workings trying to move him to a wide receiver needy team if that team can't find its guy via the waiver wire. The initial 53-man roster was set to meet the deadline but it still requires some movement to get it completely solidified before week one arrives.

Maybe because sometimes it takes a good swift kick in the a$$ to wake you up. You cant make a player be motivated.
Very true. If he's ever going to realize how close he is to falling out of the league entirely, it should be now.
