Did you read my earlier post about me no judging fandom by choosing to switch or not? I just said I don't feel sorry for folks who can and choose not to.

What a clown show. I would not be surprised if we go another season without being able to watch the Rockets outside of Comcast. Thank heavens for Ballstreams.
Not to derail, but can someone either message me or comment about ballstreams? How much is it and is there a monthly fee or annual fee? I can't see it on their website and want to switch to Uverse instead of keeping Comcast for another week. The internet has more drops than A&M's receiving core and I just can't deal with it since I work from home.
I did the three month plan hoping this will be resolved by January. The pay scale is below- $7.49 for 1 Day $12.99 for 1 Week $17.99 for 1 Month $39.99 for 3 Months $59.98 for 6 Months $99.99 for 1 Year
Maybe it will be done around Christmas time, since that's when most people start to care about the NBA.
Question for the legal experts: Assuming the judge lets this go through and assuming Comcast will appeal , do we have to wait for the appeal to be decided before everything falls into place and we can watch the games? (obviously implying for non Comcast subscribers)
That depends on whether Comcast seeks a stay pending appeal and whether Judge Isgur then grants a stay. If there is no stay pending appeal, the transfer will happen.
Imagine buying a business with a need to immediately continue operations. You show up on day one and the office is completely empty, including the equipment needed to actually run the business. It may seem like a small concern, but it is actually a significant one.
No doubt...but you'd think that with all of the signs that it was heading towards Root Sports, one of the hundreds of lawyers involved would have been tasked with this part. i guess asking lawyers to be proactive might be a bit much...
I'm not surprised with this. I am currently working for a company that bought another company a year ago and come to find out that the title to all the assets are still under the sellers name.
Thanks Refman. I would rep you but I have to spread some rep around before I can rep you again. Hopefully either Comcast doesn't ask for a stay or the judge denies it. What do you think the odds are this is resolved to a point where we can all watch the games in the next few weeks?
I'm thinking a stay pending appeal is unlikely. The more I read about that, the more I think that's a pretty tough burden to meet.
