I'm going to miss everyone at CSN. This photo made me sad. It almost looks like they enjoy each other. How many of you guys can say that at your job.
And I'm sad because I can't watch the Rockets.... P.S. - It does suck that they are losing their jobs though.
We're going to miss the 1st week of Rockets games huh? I thought today was the "final day" of this mess. Aghhhh!!
And Steve Bunin left the 'Worldwide Leader' for little ol' CSN Houston. Sucks for all of them but they'll land on their feet elsewhere. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>"Turn out the lights... The party's over..." Thank you Houston. It's been a wonderful 2 years. I may not go home, but I'm not staying here.</p>— Leila Rahimi (@leilarahimiCSN) <a href="https://twitter.com/leilarahimiCSN/status/525127222924177408">October 23, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>So that's it. It's sad to see people had to lose their jobs, but I'm with Uverse and never was able to see the channel. So, it's not going to pull heart strings at the moment. I'm just happy for the city of Houston, finally can catch their Rockets on TV without a big "this game is blackout in your area" popping up anymore. But question is, Friday game is on NBATV and our first game is on TNT. After this?
Sucks, I doubt I'll enjoy that quality of TV programming for Rockets for at least a decade. CSN was awesome, man.
I don't think Comcast wants to operate the station again. They just want the loan paid back at this point. That said...Whatever the Judge rules is fine by me as long as it holds up on appeal. Just like I didn't care what the Astros were claiming to be "losing" by signing the DTV deal way back when, I don't care what Comcast is "losing" now. All 3 parties went for pie in the sky greed from day 1 on this thing and it blew up on them. The 200M in losses seem like a good deal now.....
