I can't believe Cavs traded their whole team so easily.

Waiting for the DJ news.. You know it's coming because there is no Basketball God just Elite Gematria Jews working behind the scenes @RocketsTruth @Swiss Roll

I would think that agents will be a little wary of this Cleveland front office. Yikes, they just traded for a new team. And if LeBron walks, they really have nothing to build on.

You watched Rose this year? he's complete trash. Shumpert too, on that deal. Crowder is the only guy who's had a decent season in recent history, and he's been awful this year. He's a system guy. He will be OK in Utah.

But yes - I stand by my assessment. They traded trash out and got players back.

Cleveland are playing NBA 2K18 making easy trades

    Cavs’ updated depth chart:
    PG - George Hill, Clarkson
    SG - JR Smith, Hood
    SF - LeBron, Korver, Osman
    PF - Nance, Jeff Green
    C - Love, Tristan

From Cavs perspective, rolling in the Kyrie trade...

Kyrie + Cap Space Signing DRose + Cap Space signing DWade + Frye + Shumpert + Cavs 2018 1st Round pick

    =

Nets Top 10 2018 1st Round Pick (honestly, where this ends up will STILL be the ultimate judge of this deal probably), Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance, George Hill, Rodney Hood

Kyrie is still the jewel asset there (unless Nets pick becomes top 3), but its a LOT of really solid role player types to surround Lebron with.
Don't see how it sets them up to challenge GSW, but can definitely win the East again, on paper, if it works.

Cleveland basically traded the expiring/short term contracts of crappy players for the longer term contracts of good players.

How are the Cavs trading away all their old injured players for better younger players without giving up 1st's? Get it together Morey.

I guess it'll take the cavs half a season to mesh into a team for the playoffs, and half a season for their opponents to figure them out?

    good strat?

They got Crowder, if he's going to play like in Boston that's a solid pick up for them, and i can actually see him playing well there since the enviroment is much similar to the one in Boston.
