Most of what I've seen is heavily leaning towards a Hawks win. Who agrees?

I don’t care win or lose, I just hope we’re the tougher team to play against

What have you seen on the hawks side? I already placed a bet on the rockets, they will be a good team to bet this year.

Just from basketball minds in general on Twitter - which is understandable.

I have no reason to think the Rockets will win beyond the eye test of what I was seeing. I just got that feeling.

Or maybe it's just having to have waited so long for the season to start haha

    In Atlanta.

Tate & Tyty listed as out.

ESPN has the Hawks with an 85.7% chance of winning. That's about 6:1 odds.

I have to go with the Hawks .... When healthy they are a solid team, the addition of Murray might make them real contenders.

The hawks backcourt V the young guns of the rockets will be entertaining but they have more depth and proven NBA talent.

Anything's possible in this league, all it takes is someone getting hot.

That Charlotte team that won 7 games .... won 7 games and probably had worse odds every time.

This team should win a lot more than 7 times ....

With Tate out, we gotta play Tari. Therefore, Rockets by 12. Tari is the anti-tank missile.

This season is all about finding creative reasons to hold Tari out.

I'm really high on Tari too .... I think he's got a good shot at winning rookie of the year and being the best player on this team in a couple years.

To win it he has to play starter minutes around 28 mpg. Hope it happens but his offensive rebounding would surge, that's a given.

Pretty curious about how the Rocket's athleticism and muscle will look against the skill-oriented Hawks. If H-town isn't turning the ball over a lot and doesn't take a ton of ill-advised, heat-check shots, they'll push the Hawks around. I'm not sure Trae Young can bother Jalen Green at the rim.

Houston starts with a win if Eason and Jabari contribute on offense (because we know the kind of impact they'll have on the other end).

But I just don't have confidence in Silas and that the Rockets can play a game with less than 20 turnovers. Our young guys probably lose, but the Hawks won't cover.
