When one disappointing former Longhorn isn't enough, you get another.

Does this mean the Rockets are concerned about Dwight's return, so they're looking to add a true back center to Asik?

Hopefully he doesn't contribute...if he touches the floor in the playoffs that means that Dwight and Asik are both off the court for some reason.

Healthy body but hopefully he doesnt play

I don't understand this. Assuming Pittman gets no minutes, why not sign Camby? Neither will play, and Camby is a former rocket, familiar with the players/coaches, and would be an added veteran in the locker room.

I just don't think Camby can run with this team. Even fat ass Dexter has no excuse not to be able to get up and down the court defensively.

Don't know anything about Pittman but 9'3" standing reach and 7'6" wingspan? WOW

Yeah I think Camby has been done for a couple years. But he wouldn't even be contributing on the floor anyway. Same with Pittman hopefully. If neither play I'd prefer the veteran familiar with the team.

Does this mean Camby is unofficially retired?

I remember playing against Pittman in HS...he was so fat. Weird seeing him on the Rockets now.

Can Camby even catch up to opposing players to foul then anymore? The guy is older than dinosaurs it feels like.

I hope this ends the Motiejunas is a center discussion for at least a year. I am surprised, but I guess they know that if Howard, Asik, or Harden gets hurt in playoffs, Rockets would be done. Now it will only be Howard and Harden.

Losing either remaining PG's would really hurt too.
