The 10 man rotation equals fresher legs and more consistent shooting. Please. I would love to see James and Chris on 30-32 minute restrictions the rest of the season.
Sometimes it takes awhile to learn, I guess. Popovich had us dialed in last playoffs and called in the mortars despite being short-handed. Will never forget that game Dan Tony played 7 guys; Harden was about to have a career game but fell apart in the fourth quarter, sparking comments from the "I have grown to hate James Frauden but I am actually the number one fan of the Houston Rockets" crowd.
Notice what the difference is with MDA agreeing to play 10 players? The new one we got is actually a competent player!
Before... Rockets enter the 4th with a 23 point lead MDA looks down the bench and sees Brown, Zhou, Weber, and Williams MDA: "Uhhh, keep playing James/Paul/Eric!" Brown: "Coach, I'm ready!" MDA: "Let's extend the lead a bit more and then I will unleash Trash Mam... *cough* I mean you." Now with Green, MDA thinks "Hey! I have someone who knows what the **** he's doing now!" That said, I still feel we need an actual 3rd string PG that we are trying to develop. Maybe in this year's draft?
Would take an upgrade over Black by trade deadline - worry about Nene availability in playoffs. EGo can handle 3rd point duties for short spurts.
