Who bumped this thread up? Gave me quite a scare (esp. with the signing of Beverley)!

    No, Lin's still here.

    No, see above.

The best of Lin is yet to come.

This NBA not NFL folks. Rocket are not going toss away 20+ million for nothing. Plus guess what, Lin's salary would still stay on Rockets cap on top of that.

I hope Lin's agent is on the phone with D'Antoni now. Nash is not Secretariat anymore. 40 minutes? Mike D is nuts.

Smart and correct opinion, expressed at the time of the waiver a year ago:

I still think Lin has potential to be a decent rotation player. Another team will pick him up, and he'll get his chance. Sometimes, things just don't work out like you'd like. Lin has to remember its all part of the journey God has set for him.

Lin fans, don't lose heart. This isn't the last we've heard from him.

This thread has potential to be quite hilarious. Some of you last year actually saw the talent in Lin, maybe clutchfans aren't that dumb......

This proves that Morey is a racist, no other explanation. Maybe Jeremy can join T-Mac's team in China, I hear they need help.

I can't wait until somewhere down the road if Royce blows up we bump the Royce White thread. Between this thread & the Scott "The Answer" Machado thread CF has been hilarious.

It's not even April Fool's yet. This was rotten timing to bump this thread.

Of course, the key word is "waived" which should clue some people in. At this point the title would need to be changed to "traded Jeremy Lin" and hopefully that would be for CP3.

Maybe the Knicks will pick him up again off waivers. Felton's been sucking recently and I think Melo's groin problems are acting up again.
