Agreed. Trade are always hard to pull off, especially on short notice with roster cuts looming. Would not be surprised if Lin ended up back on the roster at some point. Happened with other guys who has been cut before. Hayes, Mike Harris.
Rockets claimed him just to end up releasing him.... Sucks. Hope Lin finds a good team he can stick with cause he can play.
I'm with you... wouldn't be surprised if he got another look down the road. Sounds like they were trying to find a value for Flynn or Dragic. They likely picked up Lin with the hope of being their third point, as we know they tried to trade Dragic earlier. I may be wrong.
He's a good 3rd string PG.. for whatever that's worth. Moooooooooooorley!! Can't even get top 55 protected second rounders anymore.
DM got owned again..not able to make a trade this offseason...crap! Lin is a perfect 3rd PG but that's the nba life..look for him to be signed by the Knicks now that Shumpert is injured.
DM got owned big time this offseason and I won't be suprised if he get's shut out again this trade deadline.
An understandable move from a financial standpoint. It is a business after all. Thanks to the Rockets for giving Lin a showcase. Came over to this forum to follow Lin. Bye.
Daryl was blocked in one of the most suspicious, eyebrow raising series of events in professional sports. By no means, would i consider that getting owned.
Ish Smith was undrafted. Wes Matthews was undrafted. Chuck Hayes was undrafted. That doesn't mean ****. It's clear you just don't like him.
Daryl and the Rockets were the 3rd party in the trade. Cuban and Stern didn't block the trade because the rockets were receiving Pau; if anyone got 'owned', it was the Lakers.
And as the early season standings will show, Dallas and LA got owned by the new CBA. The winners are the Thunder and Heat as they will be this year's championship contenders.
Lin was the last PG picked up less than a month ago. I figure he was signed because the Gasol trade was on "go" and Dragic was part of the package going out. Lin only became available because he was amnestied, right?
