Actually it was an urgent move.. Today was the waiver deadline to avoid paying Machado full guaranteed salary. Now Rockets only responsible for 50%
New Orleans most probable landing spot for Scott. Best of luck to the guy that made the most of his opportunity unlike some nut-job we all know.
I seriously doubt that's the case, BUT... even if it were true, I have no problem with it. Guys who occupy spots 12-15 on an NBA roster really DO need to STFU and listen when the coach is talking -- especially rookies. If McHale used Machado to make a point to other guys, good for him. I'd be glad to know we have a coach with the balls to do it.
I don't understand our needs for a small shoot first guard in Beverly as opposed to the pass first skills of Machado.
Scott may do well with the Lakers, since they may need second distributor after Nash and don't need another scorer... Unfortunately, looking at his garbage time performances, he is just not ready yet... Good luck Scotty!
Precog Lin? http://www.slamonline.com/online/nba/2012/10/jeremy-lin-called-the-wrong-teammate-about-being-traded/ This time is really to say good bye
Maybe because the Rockets have a ball dominant superstar guard in Harden who's best complements are point guards who play defense and shoot the 3 ball to spread the court?
