Last night's game was pretty similiar to the Cavs game. That was also hard to watch with all the tick tack fouls they called on everyone.
If the refs screw you up when you have momentum, then give some make up calls when you're trailing, that's not fair officiating either, and that's exactly what the refs did last night. Harden's bogus offensive foul in the 4th quarter practically killed all the momentum Rockets had.
Honestly the game was officiated terribly. One thing that has stuck in my mind all season are these charging calls. So do you no longer have to be set to draw a charge? It hasn't been called by the letter of the rule book all season it feels like.
It's all in good preparation for the playoffs. Don't make too much of one game. This team needs to find out what it needs to overcome.
Everyones been complaining about the refs this year, but we easily could've won this game if we had played better defense. Our players had no energy coming into the game and that's because of injuries and D'antoni refusing to play more than a playoff rotation which is risking injuries in itself. I'm surprised Morey hasn't jumped on D'antoni and told him to play more bench players, even a couple minutes here and there will help out the starters a lot. The way D'antoni is handling the rotations, we desperately need CP3 to stay healthy, otherwise Harden is gonna be dead tired by the All-Star break.
One day someone that isn't as lazy as I am would actually go into our games and break down all the miss calls. One day.
