    I’ve been waiting for Thrones for a while now. I don’t really need to worry about the Rockets manhandling the Jazz in Game 1. I’ll DVR it and watch it later.

    It’s not like it’s the NBA Finals or the Warriors series.

    Also not my fault they couldn’t hold a 13 point lead vs the Thunder and could’ve avoided this altogether.

    Doesn't it make more sense to DVR GoT and watch the Rockets game live?

    I’m watching Game of Thrones live and I’ll catch up with the Rockets when the show ends. I don’t find that I’m any less of a fan if I don’t watch every single minute of a game.

    No because after the rockets game you will want to check social media which will spoil game of thrones

    Who watches the rockets and doesn’t come to clutch fans, Reddit, or Twitter after

    You can easily avoid Game of Thrones spoilers.

    If you DVR the Rockets game you will have the urge to check the final score before watching it ruining your enjoyment of the game.

    lol no that billion number is complete BS. Last season's finale attracted 12 million viewers in the USA, 3% of the population of the USA. You're telling me that 14% of the WORLD will be watching this episode?

    I mean...I dont think you are less of a fan but it is a playoff game my dude haha. Also Jazz are not a team you just roll over.

    No lie though, I am disappointed that these two coincided ugggggh.

    You put up 2 Big Screens in the middle of the US (not Texas not Utah) where they have no pro bball team and free of charge.

    One with 1st Playoff Game Rockets bball and one with GOT 1st episode.

    Wonder where more folks would flock to?

    FWIW, if you watch Game of Thrones live, you'll only miss about the first 20 minutes or so of the Rockets game. If you DVR it, you can catch up before halftime and watch the second half live.

    That said, if I had tickets to the game, there's no way in hell I'd give them up to stay home and watch GOT.

    Just started watching BBad season 1 last week so obviously GOT wont be getting in my way of game 1. I've never seen one episode of GOT and I dont do social media aside from these boards so I'm set. Let's whip some Utah azz.

    I blame the Rockers for not getting the second seed and having a different time slot.

    I’ll be watching game of thrones on Monday so I’ll be avoiding people like the plague.
