Sorry I didn't follow every post in this thread. How much did we paid Tau to buy out his contract? Can he really play for Rockets yet?
I believe the Rockets are only going to pay 500,000 and Scola will pay the rest. He is currently negotiating his buy out trying to get it lower than 3 million ( I think) so we don't know exactly what he will pay. Yes he can play for the Rockets just as soon as it's finished.

I'm rapt. This guy although not the shot-blocker we need, will provide a 3rd offense outside of Yao & Mac, hustle and seems like he'll be a good teammate. Very humble and down-to-earth. I can't wait for the season to start!
I am welcoming this guy with open arms. I checked out some videos on him, and he has some great speed. He has great height, and I agree with Adelman, will help out Yao Ming. Hopefully Ginobili taught him a few things in Argentina.
