I don't know what this comment has to do with Beasley, but I certainly hope you weren't thinking he was that guy. If Harden is cold we'll still have a team full of better players than Beasley to help out.

I like it. One of those underrated moves that can look great in a year.

Rockets page on Facebook getting slammed like we just traded away our championship hopes and dreams in February. Jeez. It's Michael Beasley.

This trade kills our depth...Beasley was a good scorer off the bench. And it kills our flexibility offensively....it was nice having an offensive option in the post!

At least they get a decent pick out of it.

I read this trade was going to happen even before the Middleton injury

I've been saying for a while now that Beasley was trade bait . He was out of the league just last year . He had a decent showing of his offensive skills that boosted his value and he's on a cheap contract . But his defense and overall team IQ is exceptionally low . The Bucks are the team making a "desperate" move .

I understand on the surface Beasley looked like a good player last year . He wasn't , and he won't be on a team that actually plays within a system .

Beasley is the most overrated player on Clutchfans. He is just not that good and is a net negative NBA player. He's had a few decent games and even more clunkers. He's not going to be missed.

I would have liked to have seen him in D'Antoni offense but you are right. If he did well he would be gone or asking for too much money. There are other pieces and moves about to happen and this was just a stepping stone for that. DMo is the most likely scenario.

I like it. Beas got his points off the dribble. that doesn't fly in a D'antoni system. Need players who can create for others and/or play off the ball. We moved a low cost pickup for an area of weakness.

Gordon, Anderson, Dmo?.....What do these players have in common?! Rockets are building their foundation on quicksand. It was nice to have Beasley...just in case!!

And Beasley did more than just score...he rebounded well, he passed the ball well, he blocked shots..and most important of all..he played well next to Harden.

This is what we traded away!

I just don't know enough about the kid to get excited about the deal. At least he improved in his second season, even if he didn't set the world on fire, and he has decent size for a point. I hope Beasley doesn't light us up when we play the Bucks.
