I don't like this trade. Ennis had plenty of opportunity to prove himself last season but still failed to crack the rotation and is nowhere near the level Beasley has proven to be. I guess D'Antoni doesn't like Beasley because he's a ball stopper and doesn't fit with his system.

Lol how can you not like the trade if your last sentence is true . Isn't that a great reason to get rid of a guy ?

Maybe. Probably as a friend. Don't know. He's extremely lazy as a basketball player.

Beasely is like our tenth man, how can you have such strong opinions about such an inconsequential player?

I think Beasly is going to get back on drugs like Mayo. Judging from the past few years.
All in all imo being a fan of both teams Rockets won the trade. Not that it's much of a gain.
The + is that Ennis is younger doesn't smoke pot and has some little potential left I guess.

Ennis MUST become a great shooter if he wants to stick in the league. Otherwise guards like him who don't do anything great and are weak are a dime a dozen.

It's a shame Beas was one of the few things I was looking forward to this season. Guess this means we are keeping Dmo

Thank you. Man people giving Beasley waaaay too much credit. We did not need him. At least Ennis is a young player at a position of need that we can develop into something usable. I think he will fit in this system well. We are not asking him to come in and be a starter. He is a good young player with some NBA talent. We got a mid 1st rnd pick for Beasley. I'll take it.

Yes, because Beasley played for other teams before he played for the Rockets.

I agree though, he basically played the same system in China. The "Shoot the ball if I get it" system.

A lot of uncertainty this season, but that also leaves the door open for surprises. Think we just need to sit back and enjoy the ride.

I honestly think Beasley was a low risk signing to try to entice Durant to come here (partner with Harden, etc., etc.)

I'm not against the trade in principle, but Ennis really needs to improve pretty quickly. I hope Beasley will play well for the Bucks.
