Looking forward to seeing him go 4-4 from three in his first game and then shoot like Corey Brewer the rest of the season.
I agree with everything except Ennis is underrated. Overall he's been very solid at knocking down 3's.
Not sure why but i couldn't connect to clutchfans in the last 15 or so minutes, sorry for the late answer and someone else probably already said this but, the problem is i think we just can't aggregate enough salaries to make it work...again, unless we trade both Gordon and Capela, which is not worth it imo -> unless we get DeAndre at least. Now i'm not 100% sure cause i don't remember how much guys like Hartenstein and Clark are making, but since Shumpert can't be traded along with other players, we would've probably to move half of the roster or Gordon and Tucker to match...i just don't see it tbh.
That's a narrative started early in the season due to streak shooting and the Kings being better than expected. Good lord how many times does it have to happen for you people to realize it? GOOD, PLAYOFF CONTENDING TEAMS DON'T THROW AWAY GOOD PLAYERS FOR NOTHING.
I'm cool with this trade. They're all expiring contracts (Shumpert, Baldwin, & Stauskas) which I'm sure is no coincidence here.
Not a fair comparison as Ariza is making 15M this season. Also Melton has shown nothing in this league as far as being a rotation player in the NBA so far.
i don’t think most of us could connect. Looks like Clutch has it fixed. I don’t see it either after looking at things.
I still expect help at the forward/frontcourt, but don't underrate this trade. He's known as a good stopper, has defended very well Paul George or Steph in a playoff series. He has the experience, length, athleticism and agressiveness we have missed, also can make 3s. Plus we get a trade exception. I think he will start for us, D'Antoni loved him in NY.
Honestly I don’t mind the trade plenty of people have talked about adding Shumpert before and he’s playing about as well as he ever has so not mad at that. Stauskas is interesting to me but I’m not sure he’ll ever crack the rotation. I know nothing about The other guy. Wasn’t really expecting anything major since we don’t really have any assets but replacing two guys that are giving us nothing with Shumpert is a positive in my book.
F*ck me. The scouting on Iman is that he's too stupid to take advantage of his physical tools, and this is exactly what I saw when he could barely hang on to the end of a rotation with LeBron in Cleveland. I mean, they were dying for defending catch and shoot wings and he was in and out of the rotation. The Rockets just paid a 1st rounder to cut luxury taxes for a guy who's a 9th man on a contender. Just f*ck me, I hate this. This proves Tillman is a sh*t owner. Why does the NBA keep approving these chumps? There are plenty of billionaires out there just dying for a team. We have to get the cheap one? Larry Ellison has been begging for a team for 15 years.
Can still flip Iman and picks or Gordon and picks. I think Iman is a better tradeable asset then Knight or Chriss (obviously lol)
