Hey can we have an appearance from margrave? Maybe have him and DD argue back and forth in a schizophrenic conversation fight club style.

Because its super cool to come into a thread , not discuss its topic at all and pile on a poster who clearly cares about his team.

Some of you need a life.

    You're a ****ty human being.

Its not like we were just discussing basketball or anything right? Your whole motive about making things personal is clear as day.

And you hope DET wins so our Draft Pick drops in value.

Now you're going to troll us Rockets fans in the NBA Dish rooting for DET like LOFs do.

Man, you certainly are taking this trade hard. You correctly put others in their place for making personal insults because of a disagreement about basketball. You told me off for name calling and you were right.

As for the trade, I think DMo's potential- without his back injury- made him worth extending, but he was not a slam dunk cornerstone of the team even during his best stretch last year. With a back injury like this? Getting value for him as restricted free agent is the right move.

    let's talk basketball.

If morey had made the draft day trade instead of a pick in the 18-20 we would have one of Miles Turner, Winslow, Johnson , Payne or Booker.
All high potential prospects who can become stars.

Jeremy's stint in New York was however a better one than Dmo's in the NBA.

    That is safe to say.

Jeremy has been more durable so far and has been able to play more regular season games.

I never dreamt to say it but Jeremy has more NBA experience.

There was absolutely no reason to trade him right now. Bad back or not, he's good enough to where you hope he improves or try to get better value for him on draft day.

agreed. Or at least manage to get better value than what Morris got. Not WORSE.

It was a bad trade value wise no matter how you spin it.

Must be nice to have a personal fluffer.

DMo's back is busted, DM knew it and moved him.

Hilarious, considering that he specifically quoted my post telling me he had me on ignore but decided to reply to my post just a couple of weeks ago.

That dude has everyone on ignore, but reads every single post regardless. Its sad tbh.

I feel like this was a salary dump for something bigger. It's a dice roll.

I think the clear winners are the Pistons though. They get two bench players and will have a playoff team.

If we can sign a big name with cap space we clear this summer, then The Rockets also won this trade and I think both sides can be happy. If we get a 1st round pick, then we draw even on this. Either way, the dice roll is in The Rockets' favor if Morey can not make a fool of himself on people's doorsteps at midnight. Dude is like that kid in high school who shows up uninvited to a girl's house with chocolates and a flower.

On the other side, the Pistons fans in their forum seem excited about having a bench. I am too, and I'm not even a big Pistons fan. It's nice to see this team have a shot at winning some playoff games if Dmo can stay healthy. However, Dmo, who I wish the best, is not the most durable. I think he's more than likely to not be healthy, or not be healthy in time to get to the form we/pistons would need him in, so that was also likely a decision behind this dice roll. Either way, I support this trade. Yes we lost our playoff run already without depth, but we really lost when we fired our Coach midseason with no real plan to have a leader on this team. This positions us to get a big free agent and may be just what we needed to contend next year.

Either way, time to get ready to watch Goldenstate and the Spurs dominate, and bide our time until the battlefield is more favorable. We will be ready in time. I just don't think it's this year, and it's painfully obvious to everyone in the Rockets Org. They will lie and try to sell this team anyway, in order to save face. But it's a lost cause.
